We are still under longest lock down situation here in Siquijor!!
We are all safe and just normal at Siquijor
Luckily siquijor island so long time no active case with Covid-19.
Just recently we find 4 active case on Siquijor island but all of them are just local serenader and just back from siquijor. so as of now official said we have no local transmission.
Peace and normal
At moment we still can not out from Siqujor island so totally looked it. but life are just normal and very peaceful.
Of cause we can go diving if you want but unfortunately we have no guest as of now so dive shop operation are temporary closed.
Staff also stay at home
Our local staff are also as of now all ok but no work which is same time no income…
Government gave them 5000pesos cash assistance as beginning of pandemic and few times food support like give rice, can food and noodles.
Last frontier Dive also help little but we can not fully support during lock down piriod.
So as of now our staff are no income which having some financial problem.
Luckily siquijor still have lots of natural rescue food from mountain and sea.
But may not enough at moment.
Some of our guest asking some support and send cash also our english instructor “Stacey” try to get donation at England.
Also now we start Siquijor Food Support Campaign ourselves.
We open online shop at US site and sale sone goods onsite.
Product are like calendar, post card also T-shirt.
Price based on USA and we add profit so little more expensive compare if we sale in philippines but hope you understand this is we do charity.
Once items are sold and make profit we will use food support for our staff and if more than enough we will continue support to local people in Siquijor.
